We are looking for a parent to come in anytime/any day of the week for 1-2 hours to make copies and/or organize and label our supply room.

Looking for a parent(s) to help assist small group(s) with reading comprehension and/or grammar from 11:12 a.m.  to 2:40 two to three days per week.

 

Amy Martin (Math) almartin@mccsc.edu ext. 434 Looking for a parent to come in on Mondays to make copies and/or file papers. Also need a parent (or parents) to help one to three students with math homework any time from 8:00 to 9:36 am on any day Monday through Thursday.

Bay Kelley is looking for ...

· Adults to do one-on-one reading with students in the Read 180 program. Concentration will be on reading with expression and reading comprehension (helping kids understand what they read). Help would be appreciated any day of the week from 1:25-2:25.

· As a part of a year-long creative-writing unit, Mrs. Beane and I are currently looking for a way to build an actual model of a town that students will design. We need help with

   conceptualization and actualization of this part of the project from creative/crafty/artsy

   adults.

· We also would welcome any writers who would like to share and possibly present their creative processes (to demonstrate that there are different methods of working). You may e-mail Mr. Kelley at bkelley@mccsc.edu or call 330-7763 extension 441 to set up times or to ask questions.

 

Library

· Volunteers to work with reading from 11:15-12:10 one or more days each week.

· Book Fair Volunteers to plan and/or work at book fair to be held in October 2009 & April 2010. (See the Volunteer Page)

Art classes are in need of the following. If you have any of these items that you can sent to school they would be very appreciated.
